I know there is a very similar thread below some wher but would appreciate any advice. Got a PC with Hardwareverdsand in March '11 and it has been ace. No issues what so ever and is still preforming fine. Just wondering if there is anything I could add / update to keep it running to 2014 standards.

    -Intel Core i5-2500K processor
-AS Rock P67 Pro 3 motherboard.( Dont really want to change out this)
    -Corsair A70 cooler
    -2GB Kit Mushkin Essentials Ram
-Super Flower, SF700A14A, 700W power supply
-MSI R6950-2PM2D2GD5,2GB, Radeon HD graphics card, PCI Express.
    -Samsung F3, 1000GB Sata 11 hard drive.
    -Running windows Home Premium 7

    all put together in a

    -Lancool K58, ATX mid tower.

Would adding a second graphics card linked with crossfire bridge do anything for me or is it a waste of money. As I said PC is running fine.
    Any input appreciated.

how many usb sockets does it have?
do you have to take in and take out usb leads?
In that case buy a powered usb hub, branded, along the lines of belkin or kensington.
I’ve a 3 year old sony viao laptop myself.
I need to really get a new joystick that is all.
get more ram and see if you can fit 8 gb worth. i did this with the viao and it worked a treat.

Consider getting more ram, 2 gb could be limiting in some applications.

An ssd is never a bad upgrade either, I wouldn't go back to not using. Have it in a ****ty low spec laptop and it's great, boots quick, apps open instantly etc.

Are you sure it's 2GB ram. If you're playing games, there is no way 2Gb ram would come close to sufficient, so maybe you've got 2 x 2GB? 8GB is a good place to aim for either way, so you may have to just add another 4gb.

Crossfire isn't possible on that motherboard I believe.

go to crucial dot com and enter the specs of current rig as close as you can. you can note the ram thats recommended. if you cannot order it from crucial, enter the ram specs in search engi ne to see locally where you can order it.

Cheers for that. Its reccomending an 8GB of ram install for about €80. Wonder is it worth it??
