Odometer reading of 0 on nct report

    I recently viewed a car and when checking the last nct report (2013) I noticed the odometer readibg on the report as recorded as 0.

    I've never seen this before. Can anyone offer an explanation? I phoned nct crowd but they wont discuss as im not registered owner and they wouldnt answer it as a general query either.

    Tester forgot to record it? Sound like simple human error, I'd wouldn't be reading any conspiracy theory into it.

    When you were viewing the car, did the owner produce any service reports like invoices or stamps in the service booklet with odometer readings? That's what I'd be looking for.

    Service book showed stamps with odometer readings alright.

    Seller didn't have invoices at the time but is to get them.

    Motorcheck report had no previous odometer readings recorded, no flags raised bar long periods without motortax.

    I realise its prob no big deal just hadnt seen it before and got stung with a clocked car previously so "once bitten...."
