Looking for help Just put in gta 5 and it's asking me to update the game to version 1.17.i havent played it since launch so it's prob missing a few updates When I press ok to update it just stays on the update screen at 0% Any ideas?

Ye it's good.ive been playing other games without an issue.an error code just popped up now when I try to update 800233E8

I'm having the exact same problem. No games at all are updating! They all stay at 0% and if you cancel the PS3 ends up freezing.

I've turned off media sync. I've rebuilt the database. The only thing I haven't done is restore it to factory settings.

I'm using an ethernet connection and there were never any problems before. It's a strange one. I can sign into PSN just fine.

It basically says to change your DNS settings to

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

It worked for me.

DNS is your problem.
