Insurance Renewal, different quotes.

    Its that time of year again. Just had my renewal notice, roughly the same price as last year.
    I thought I'd have a shop around, like you do. Several online forms later and two phone calls, and no one will match, or even come close, to my renewal quote.
    So, back to 123.ie it is. I know there a lot of stuff said about their policies, but personally, I cannot fault them.

    BTW renewal is on a 04 Alfa GT 2.0 petrol. Price was €447. Nearest quote I got with the same cover was €508, and that was with the AA, of which I am a member. Go figure :rolleyes:

    I'm with 123.ie as well. My renewal quote came back to me a few months ago. Last year I paid 370euro to them. This year they wanted 470euro! So I rang them and told them I was not paying more than I paid last year, let alone 470euro!

    Then I told them I got a quote off Aviva for 310euro. Straight away the guy from 123.ie quoted me 315euro, so that's what I'm paying now!

    I'm 31, 9yrs no claims bonus, full license 12 years, drive 1.9. Price is also for fully comp with windscreen cover & breakdown.
