I may be moving to Dublin to work in the not too distant future and I was wondering if there are any Hotels or even self catering apartments that would do a package by week or something?
I would just want a base for a few weeks while I settle in and look for a more permanent place to live

You might have more luck with airbnb

    +1 for Airbnb.

If you contact hotels individually you may be able to get about a 30% discount on the regular room rate for a long stay (4+ weeks).

But really, just go with Airbnb.

Airbnb looks to be about €50 a day.
