We are thinking about buying an Apartment in the town & wanted to seek experience based opinions from Boardsies.

Currently on the radar are Custume Pier, Jolly Mariner & the Shannon Weir.

Jolly mariner is maybe a bit further out than we'd prefer.

From experience can you share any feedback on these or similar developments in Athlone regarding Build quality, neighbourhood, social/anti social behaviour & flood risk.

Thanks all, this is our first place and we want to go in with eyes wide open.

Thanks for the info. Somebody told me that the water never able to get in the ground floor of the building. Only the car park has flood risk. Do not know how bad was it in 2009?
