    is it okay?

I went to a fitness class yesterday morning (Strength and Tone body works) Now my legs, shoulders and upper arms are sore. Is it okay to exercise like this?

Was planning to go to a total body tone class tonight, but its sore to walk/bend down.

    thanks

Depends what you mean by exercise.
I am an advocate of doing cardio on rest days, but if your body is sore, it is telling you something.
Maybe you could do some light jogging or walking, cross trainer, light cycling etc. to help loosen out tight muscles.

Don't do the same thing; if you vary the exercise, you vary the strain you're putting yourself under. If I happened to be sore from running, swimming is great. If weights have me aching, a run might ease out my legs. But being sore wont stop you altogether.

If you're new to the training, after a few weeks you wont get this kind of soreness anyway.

Go to the bog for a day...ya won't say that then:P

As mentioned OP, a swim will sort ya, a run may to.
