    Looking for....

    1) Idea of cost to have a new solid white oak stairs spray lacquered onsite in home - it is already fitted (rough estimate is fine)
    2) Any recommendation for someone or a company to do this in Dublin area (PM is fine if against forum rules)

    Thanks in advance.

It is not a new build, the new stairs is replacing a pre-existing stairs.

I'd be more inclined to get it rolled if its already fitted.

If you get an experienced painter, he should still be able to get an extremely good finish.

A coat of sanding sealer first than two coats of lacquer on the spindles. Three coats on the handrails, steps and risers.

    Thanks.

Balustrade is glass, just one exposed string, threads, risers, 3 newel posts and bannister is required.

    To all...

So back to my original questions, expected rough cost and any recommendations on a good person/company to do it?
