    Hi all

Our hayshed needs to be repainted at home and I'm trying to find a suitable red paint. i want a bright red colour (ie massey red or fire engine type red) the co-op shop have red oxide (think brand is 'castle') but this is a dull dark reddish brown not what I'm looking for. Anyone any suggestions?

I've seen ''Syn-Oxide' paint in red in another shop so I might ask them to pop the lid on a can and see if its the right colour , if anyone here has used it before I'd greatly appreciate your advice?

    Thanks

The syn oxide will be bright anyway. If the stuff in local co-op is castle they should probably be able to get you any colour you want off them, they'd be a fairly big paint supplier for the shed painters around the country!

Douglas Paint, I recently painted my garage roof with Douglas Zinc Oxide and red is available, you can buy it in 5 gallon drums around €82 in a Topline Hardware store. Or alternatively from the farmers co-op.
