outdoor bench

    has anyone got a weights bench they leave outside unsheltered?... i'm looking to get one and have no room in the house or shed... Is there such a thing or would rust etc kill it very quickly?

    It could be made from stainless, or properly painted/coated. Some irish places make custom equipment so you could spec stainless. I have seen companies that specialised in outdoor stuff for the likes of prisons.

    Or it could probably be made out of treated wood, maybe stick a BBQ cover on it.

    If you leave most benches or weights in a cold room (esp a shed) they will rust in no time.
    Anything adjustable , like hinges and pins, can't be painted so they'll definitely rust. Suppose if you got a cheap bench and just left it flat you might get some use out of it if you don't care too much about the condition it will be in after a few months. You'll still have to take your weights inside i reckon
