Friend of mine rides one has it a few years got it in Poland never had any problems.
They seem pretty big now with Lampre, so must be ok.

The scecs seem ok and the Italian team seem to ride merida. The bikes look decent. Im looking for a carbon bike with Ultegra for max 1600 euro. I think its possible?

Cheers Boardsmember..that link is great. I also found a brand 'Ribble' and used the bike builder to build a good looking bike with almost same spec for 1488 uk pounds. Does Rose let you select a different colour frame? im not too mad about the white or white/red

    Thanks Again

Yes that link shows all the customisable stuff. Black is the other option.

    Canyon are worth considering too.

got a merida bike as a rental while on holiday this year, had a lot of miles on the clock, drivetrain felt it but the frame seemed fine . i wouldn;t have any complaints

re the colour, the link boardsmember posted comes up with a white or black bike for me, are you sure you are looking at the same bike? i don't see a red. i'll vote for the rose as well, have one and can't fault it, they make good carbon frames

i'm pretty sure canyon don;t have a carbon with ultegra for under 1600. might have changed though

Own a merida now for 3 years, its a 9 year old bike and I find it excellent.
Quality of the frame and parts seem good to me anyway. Few aged marks on the frame but that is to be expected.
