I've been using Stevia for about 12 years now..
Always thought it was a 'safe' sweetener..

    Turns out it aint..
Back to coconut sugar/honey/maple syrup I go :(

Unless you're prone to hypoglycaemia, it is perfectly fine and is safe.

Very few sources in that article and any sources it does use are other blogs which don't quote any sources.

    2) "Stevia often contains other ingredients- The issue of other additives exists because we use processed stevia, not pure stevia leaves. Obviously, if you have a pot of stevia leaves growing in your garden, you can ignore this point."

    4) "Stevia has an aftertaste - If you eat stevia, you know it has an aftertaste… and you do your best to convince yourself of the contrary. Raw honey (or pure maple syrup or sucanut or coconut sugar) tastes exorbitantly better. Period."

Considering these are two of her arguments against Stevia I think it's safe to ignore her views on stevia.
