Hello new to this. My car is just out of warranty by 3 months. The head gasket and timing belt has gone. Does anyone know if I have any come back. It's nissan juke 2011.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

What mileage/service history have you got? Has it been regularly serviced?

    What engine?

^^^^ This could be the important factor. It is very unfortunate to suffer 2 such serious engine failures so soon after the warranty expired and with a full service history there may be a goodwill gesture from Nissan. However there is a distinct possibility that the engine is totalled and it is unlikely that Nissan would cover all the costs of a replacement.

Which engine is it? The 1.6L petrol Juke has a timing chain and there was a recall over faulty chains in some markets - I can't find any information on a recall in Ireland or the UK though.
