Six Nations Tickets

I have a friend who is going to be having his stag in Dublin on the day that Ireland play France in next years six nations.

I was wondering what would be the chances of getting your hands on say 12 tickets for the game?? No chance - we don't play and aren't attached to a club but we do like to spectate.

What would be the best way of going about this if it was possible?

Keep an eye on ticketmaster and talk to people who may have access to tickets, whether that be via their club, work or whatever.

The chances of getting 12 though are slim to none, at least not all from the same person. You might have unbelievable luck and find 1 or 2 here and there and end up with 12 in the end but sitting seperately.

Join the Irish Rugby Supporters Club on their website - they are usually the best chance of getting tickets if you aren't in a club etc.. They have supporter club tickets sales for tickets returned from clubs and they are sold there before they go out to the general public on ticketmaster

12 tickets is a big much from the same person.

The best chance would be to talk to at least 3 people associated with clubs. Ask them to try get you 4 tickets each. Even at that you are pushing it.

Tickets for Ireland vs France will be in high demand.

I'd second the Supporters Club, I've always been lucky in getting 6N tickets through them, but for England and France you are limited to 2 tickets for either match (which is really fair). Alternatively on the day you could chance the pubs up around baggot street and on the way to the stadium, give the barman a shout and he can usually point you to someone with a spare ticket (not touts, fans).
