Do any credit cards in Ireland offer any kind of rewards like Nectar points in the UK etc? I have an AIB Mastercard but would switch if there was any bonuses to be had elsewhere...

    There are 2 choices:

1.Tesco Visa credit card with Tesco points exchangeable for Tesco coupons

2.AIB Platinum Visa Card with 0.5% cashback for a spend over €5,000 (max annual cash of €225)

up to certain amount, I remember looking at it and wasn't impressed ..

Tesco credit card gives you point (works out about 0.5%) but you can double .. I use that for Bord Gais electricity bill ..

it's better than KBC because in theory it is unlimited ..

I also use few of the vouchers to 3x for Tesco Mobile .. so I pay very little for electricity and never pay cash for phone credit ..
