Insulating & Underfloor Heating Suspended Joisted Floor

We are planning a refurbishment of our 1977 house.
The ground floor is a suspended timber joist floor over a vented space underneath.

I am wondering what is the best option for insulating the floor and also wondering has anyone any experience in fitting Underfloor heating to such a floor.

Online research would suggest it can be done but is it crazy expensive and how is the performance?

Below vid gives one option using aluminum plates to spread the heat.

You can also use a light weight screed in between the joists but may be weight issues.
I would prefer not to raise the floor height.

I would be concerned about ufh Preformance /cost of lost heat.

To insulate floor, lay mesh between joists then fill with mineral wool, then lay vapour barrier on to of joists tape and seal, Lay flooring with separating membrane if required.

Would mineral wool be better than fitting in something rigid like Kingspan PIR boards.
I guess it would be a lot cheaper in fairness.
