Does anybody have experience with these?
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/s/ref=is_box_?k=bh-940&x=0&y=0
I'm in the market for a durable, hard wearing, wireless pair with some kind of noise cancellation.

I've read a variety of reviews and the general consensus is that they fit the bill, but that the price is quite steep, and has not come down since their release.
Can anyone here tel me of they're worth it or are they an over priced gimmick?

    Thanks

Beaten for sound quality by the Jabra REVO wireless in this group test:

The Purity Pros have a cool feature in that they automatically turn on when unfolded, and off when folded. They, like the REVOs, have NFC, plus a voice that talks you through pairing, which is nice. That said, the noise canceling feature is pretty useless, the build is less sturdy than that of the REVOs, and the cord has no mic or remote option. They’re also over $50 more than the REVOs — when they are in stock — so unless you have a Lumia or absolutely need over-ears, the REVOs are probably a better bet.
    *emphasis mine

Half the price too: Amazon UK

Yeah, I was concerned that the price tag might have been more about paying for brand name and that someone here might know of a pair of comparable quality with a better price tag.

Wonder why that reviewer wasn't happy with the durability and noise cancellation. That was the first negative review I'd seen.

Thread revival. Did you ever get a pair in the end. I'm quite keen on getting a pair but the wireless ones don't seem to be in circulation anymore.
I take that as a good sign, that they are in high demand?

I got a pair in the end, second hand off amazon.

The set didn't work* and got into a whole saga with amazon to get the issue resolved. Sound quality was great and they were very comfortable.
Switching to wired when the power ran out was great feature too.

One concern I have about them is the battery. Like I said the first set i got didn't work, *it wouldn't take a charge, even though the led said it was fully charged, but they wouldn't even when in wired mode.
For this reason I have concerns about the quality and longevity if the battery.

They're worth getting, especially if they're a good price, just don't buy then of amazon.

I've had the Revo for months, and love them.
If you want to save a bit of money, the Jabra MOVE is The Wirecutter's current pick.
