Ah right have ye now. Dont ask me why but i was under the impression that bps were given for best def/ mf / cf of the day not of the team. But thanks for clearin that up

a sneaky BP from Wilson takes me to an even 50 for the week.

up to around 150k. not great because I had no Costa for his goal glut (bar this week), but my team is pretty much how I want it now. i hope to climb properly, starting next week.

Baaaah, my failure to add anything to my miserable 36 since Saturday see's me slump to outside 400k.

The rank was holding up till all the Stoke defenders cleaned up as well as the autosubs.

This week was now officially rubbish....

7 for Wilson last night brings me up to 61 for the week, and up to 5.5k place overall. After all the talk of the lack of clean sheets, I got 26 from by 3 defenders with bonus points all round. Top of my pay leagues and, after already bringing Dzeko in for Rooney, with a decent team going into next week. Hopefully the CL doesn't hold any nasty surprises for me.

Green arrow at last after falling from 30k gw 2 when I wildcarded to 900k last week. Up to 850 k this week and finally have my team in decent shape. With hindsight it was an unfortunate time to wildcard gw 2 as at the time the logical thing to do was take out costa.

Ended u with 56 points after Wilsons contribution. Leaves me around 30k overall, nice position to be in just gotta keep on top of the form players.

I had 3 really poor gws after wildcarding nothing went for me. Happens to everyone at times during the year the key for me is that it doesn't happen again otherwise I'm in serious trouble. Still early days haven't quite hit the panic button yet ☺

Yeah, it's not a massive jump from where you are to the top 100k (I'd say). I got a cleanie from Wisdom and Wilson and jumped up about 150k.

Top 100k at Xmas and I'd be confident of a top 10k finish. I'm about 50 pts back from where I'd like to be 1.5 pts a week to make up.

Last year I found it easy enough to move up to 100k from around 880k at the same time last season but nigh on impossible to get any further. I broke in to 97k one week (2 weeks after the Jan wildcard I believe) and was quickly fired back out. Such cheek I had in doing so that the FPL gods put me back out to 250k for about a month.

Of course I didn't have Yaya which didn't help completely screwed me but I really found the breakthrough tough. It's depressing that he's a complete irrelevance this season in that sense. Ultimately I was right (to an extent) but was a classic case of biting my nose off to spite my face

I actually got from 330k at Xmas to 11k by the end and 150k at Xmas to 5k at the end the year before. The only slight concern I'd have this year is that a lot of good ff players have started well this year particularly when compared to last year.

Traditionally (well based on 2 seasons anyway :pac: ) I start slow and can stage a comeback but last season was such a freak for me

In the 2011/12 season, pre-boards for me, I latched onto Siggy, Cisse and Ben Arfa straight away and rode that wave all the way into 12k and my best finish in what was the 1st year I took any real interest in the game.

Then 2 seasons ago I had my 2 months away from the game in Asia and arrived back in mid April to move over 100k from 160k to 58k. And if I had more GWs I'd have gotten further. I think I was roughly 50k before I left too.

Somehow I've made a cracking start so not really sure at all how I should approach the game going forwards. Going to gamble a little this week and use the WC over the international break as it's burning a hole in my pocket. Hopefully I'll get my WC right, or at least minimise the damage.

You have made a great start and have got yourself into a great position. My advice to you would be write down your wildcard plans now and try not to get too distracted by the unlikely gw 7 heroes.

I would not play the WC just for the sake of playing it. If you're happy with your team, why not keeping it. You may need it later.

There's changes that need to be made which I've been putting off. The plan was to run the team into the ground up until next week and reassess. It's no foregone conclusion that I'll use it but it might be the right time to fix a few things and set up for the next 8 weeks and up to Xmas.

I might post my team up int the RMT thread tomorrow and get some feedback from some kind souls
