One-way fare to from Wexford to Dublin?

    Hi, I'm a student and took the Wexford Bus from Wexford to Dublin (UCD) last week and was charged 24 euro one way. As this was my first time getting the bus I didn't question it as I didn't check the price beforehand!

    However I got a Bus Eireann Bus home this evening and was only charged 26 euros return.
    Getting these buses is all new to me so I'm just wondering is the normal going rate for a single fare 24e or was I overcharged by Wexford Bus???

    you can get an adult day return ticket to the city centre with wexford bus for €20, so that definitely sounds wrong!

    Are you sure you were charged €24 and not €14.50? Student single from Wexford, Oylegate, Enniscorthy and Ferns is €14.50 and from Camolin, Gorey and Arklow it is €14. Maybe you got charged €14 and lost a tenner?

    There is no €24 fare on any Wexford bus route, also as a student you can get a €9 single each way using the student travelcard for a limited time.
