    5a.

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080] [Yes, will probably upgrade in the future]

Similar Budget to what I have except you do not need a monitor, I think I will be going for :

    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, 4GB GDDR5 - €339.90
    8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9 - €62.48
    ASRock B85 Pro4, Sockel 1150, ATX - €60.52
    Intel Core i5-4590 in-a-Box - €172.21
Corsair Carbide Series 200R, ATX, ohne Netzteil - €46.76
    Seagate Barracuda 7200 2000GB, SATA 6Gb/s - €71.00
    Crucial MX100 SSD 128GB (2,5", 7mm) - €58.13
    BenQ GL2450HM - €139.00
    Delock SATA Kabel 30cm links/gerade - (x3) - €4.98

Total inc Delivery €961.97 (after geizhels)

You could upgrade processor (4690 for extra €40-50) and increase the SSD to 256GB and still have some change..

Thanks for the reply and advice mate. I forgot to add that I want to make it as quiet as possible. I know that might be hard with the parts up there but can o change it for a quieter psu maybe?

Just realised that I left out 2 items that you will need:

    - Copy Windows & PSU.

So about €85 for Windows 7/8.1 and maybe another €50-€70 for psu.

I think if you add in both of those they will cancel out the cost of the monitor in my build. I am just holding off my order for a day or two as two items (graphics card and monitor) are currently out of stock and want to get everything shipped together. Will let you know when I order and how I get if I have it all done before you place your order.

By the way i am no expert whatsoever so it might be advisable to see if some of the more seasoned posters can give better advice.

Thanks for the info again. I should be alright with Windows because I can get a licensed copy through the college i'm currently studying in. This is the final build which I am thinking of. Works out at €1,123.41, a little over my budget but I am willing if this is the correct spec:

    Intel Core i5-4690K Box, LGA1150 215,26 €
    ASRock H87 Pro4, Sockel 1150, ATX 69,29 €
    8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9 65,86 €
    8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9 65,86 €
Corsair Carbide Series 200R, ATX, ohne Netzteil 49,10 €
be quiet! Pure Power L8 CM 630 Watt 80,55 €
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, 4GB GDDR5 339,90 €
    Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s 50,87 €
    Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 250GB SATA 6Gb/s 109,99 €
    LG BH16NS40 Blu-Ray Brenner Bulk 66,74 €

The only thing that I am worried about is the PSU(be quiet! Pure Power L8 CM 630 Watt) that I have selected. Will that be sufficient or will I need a larger wattage for the PSU? Any advice greatly appreciated!

    PSU will be fine.

You have selected an unlocked CPU but a mobo that wont allow you overclock.

If you have no interest in overclocking than drop it to a 4690 or else if you do intend to overclock change the mobo to a z87/z97.

Could also change to the RAM to a higher speed for roughly same price.

    16GB Team Group Xtreem-Kit Series, DDR3-2133, CL11 € 132.56
