Fibre broadband in Dublin 7?

    Hi all

I'm looking to have fibre broadband installed in my property in Cabra however it doesn't seem to be available at all in my area. I find this really strange considering I'm so close to the city. I've checked with UPC, Eircom and Vodafone.

Anyone know when this will be available in the area? Or can anyone advise who is the best company to go with for fast broadband?

I'm currently with Eircom but it's so slow. I checked the speed the other day and the DL speed was a mere 5.85mbps which is ridiculous considering I'm paying €50 per month. Vodafone can only offer 11mbps at the most but they are cheaper at €35 per month.

    Would appreciate some advice !

Go with Vodafone at €35 for 18 moths and they'll give you a free upgrade once Fibre does come to your area.

Check fibrerollout.ie under where and when for the map. That'll show the status of current nearby cabs.
