Horn cutting wire you're looking for. I think it's on Ebay, I got some but I can't remember from where. It's light years ahead of the hacksaw.

had problems with ebay, so chanced mullinahone coop. €27 for 12 metres of wire and handles and next day delivery. Can't argue with that.

Sounds good alright. When you put on the handles I recommend tying a knot on the wire to stop the handle slipping off the wire. I find no matter how tight I think I have them one of the handles can start to slip and if it comes off mid horn it's a pain.

Cheese wire is just wire, it won't cut horns.
You need a Dehorning Wire Saw

It might be alright with the sheeps horn but it happened to me with cattle horns. They are a bit thicker so take longer to get through. That said start slowly until you get a grip and then go as fast as you can and the horn will be off in seconds.
