I live on Morrison's Quay, just off the South Mall in Cork City Centre. Now, one would think that the broadband infrastructure here would be "the tits" but UPC told me today that I wasn't able to get UPC broadband ... and uswitch.ie has no way of letting me check what is available because I cannot select an area that relates to me on their site (they dont have a "city centre" region for all the world).

Anyone in the area know what the deal is? I live in Island House, just above Sobe Brown hairdressers if that helps. I'll pop down to them tomorrow and see what internet they have.
