    Hi All.

Great thread participation here so hope you can help me with this problem.

My existing Heat Pump is at 'end of life' after 10 yrs. (apparently)
Admittedly it was never really serviced - more to do with the fact that the plumber who installed went into radio silence and the German OEM arent interested in little old me home owner in Ireland.

Long story short - looking at a replacement Heat System for house.

Narrowed it down to Air Source Heat pumps and have Mitsubishi and Panasonic now in my sights. Have UFH on GF & Rads on FF.
Its a well insulated 2650ft2 timber frame house built in 2004.
Last unit worked well in fairness (even if it was undersized I;m told).

Any info on these would be great so I have the right questions to ask and eliminate risk of falling into same traps I did first time around as a newbie DIY builder.

What advice would any experienced folk have to offer in this regard. Any help appreciated as I intend to make a decision soon on this with the winter looming.

    Thanks.

    D

Only advice would be to get a good installer who has done several air-to-water heat pumps.

A good back-up service would be essential.
