I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I was wondering what gizmos and gadgets people have bought from Aldi/Lidl and found either very useful, or have shoved in the back of the press? I bought a juicer in Lidl, and it is brilliant, the garden shed is a testament to Aldi! ;)

Bread maker which I bought for my mother about 7 years ago was donated back to me a few years ago and in the past month or so it's used almost every evening. Think it is from Lidl.

Lidl 6L slo-cooker, which feeds me every day. One filling lasts me for 12 servings and that does me for 3 or 4 days, depending. This thing has made it easy for me to stick to a diet of sorts and steadily drop weight.
Now, I am merely a bit fat, instead of being two seperate gorillas.

Interesting.... I was thinking of getting the slow cooker currently in Aldi. Being a naturally lazy person, it appealed to me. :p 6L sounds massive, wouldn't have to wash up for a week! Good luck with the diet thingy.

Do it. Every kitchen needs one, if only to fill a space at the back of a cupboard for years then be suddenly pulled out and used.
It's dead useful for single or coupled workers, too. Easy prep the night before, switch on in the morning before you go out and when you get back, massive stew waiting.
Takes me 5 minutes prep to make the grub for 3 or 4 days, as I said.
1kg pork bits or chicken thighs or cheap mince
    2 packs assorted frozen veg
1/2 punnet mushroom (or buy ready-sliced)
    1 pack veg soup
1 pack Pork Casserole / Chicken This / Beef That
    2 stock cubes veg/chick mixed.

my sons say I should stay away from Aldi/Lidl Chainsaw lasted a year

The motor of shredder won't work

Bought a sensor outside- light , on a dark day it comes on all the time

Some of the gizmos are good for youngsters playing with.

Back in again today, seriously, I need help. I got the memory foam mattress topper, kingsize. Going to cut it in half to make two single size ones, well, that's the plan. :P I wish they would flog off the plants instead of letting them die, I would snap them up.

For something like a chainsaw or shredder I'd go for a well known brand, better chance of repair or parts. I got a shredder in Woodies, it would nearly eat yourself!

Some of the hardware isn't great, but a lot of it has a 3-year guarantee, so take it back.
