What's Up With UFC 93 (Dublin) on Fight Pass

Watched UFC 93 on Fight Pass last night. I wanted to try and re-live the atmosphere again.

I was watching the first bout of the main card; Marcus Davis vs. Chris Lytle.

I was looking forward to Marcus Davis' entrance as I remember the whole place erupting and jumping around to House of Pain's "Jump Around".

When I discovered to my total shock and horror, that the UFC dubbed over this with some generic rock track!! This upset my whole day (not really but I feel dramatics are necessary).

Anybody know WTF was going on? They then cut in and out of Goldie and JR talking during the entrance.

Where was my House of Pain? Why was I not made to Jump Around!

I do declare this a travesty!

They put new music in most of the dvds too.

I'd say its to do with rights and royalties.

You'd be surprised how much it happens.

If you watch Love/Hate on DVD boxset you'll see the music that was used so brilliantly in some scenes has been replaced with some generic instrumental stuff.

yeah, it's definitely this, i have quite a few dvd's of events and nearly all the intro music is changed to something else, Zuffa would have to play a FORTUNE in royalties if they kept the fighters choice music
