dublin cycling clubs

    Hi

    I'm looking at joining a dublin cycling club

    I have a particular interest in touring, do any clubs have a particular focus on this. Organise trips away etc.

    Northside, southside or central?

    Most of the larger clubs have well established leisure sections. However their main focus may be more on regular weekly spins with perhaps the odd weekend away (I know my club does that but only once a year)

    Specifically touring style things, the best people to talk to would be the CTC if they are still active. I bumped into a few of them going up stocking lane one Sunday morning and I think they split their spins, half start from Phoenix Park every two weeks and the other from the yellow house Rathfarnham every other Sunday.

    I know a few posters here were members but I cannot remember who.
