Astra 1.3cdti not starting

    Hi All

    My OH's 2006 astra 1.3 cdti is having starting issues.

    a few weeks ago she rang me to say it would not start when she was out shopping. She left it for a hour came back and it started, i thought probably a cam sensor.

    The problem didn't resurface until 2 days ago and it did the same thing. Once left to cool down it would start.

    Also i have OP-COM and no codes were logged on either occasion

    Last night the fault reoccurred but now refuses to start at all.

    Still no fault codes, it turns over and tries to fire but wont.

    I have removed the feed to the diesel filter, good flow coming in and going out of the filter.

    has anyone any ideas? Maybe the high pressure pump?

    Still no luck getting it started .

    Fitted a new crank sensor , opcom not showing fuel pressure as the engine is not running
