Hi, maybe you can give me some good advice on what to do.
I have more than 8 years of work experience as sales and marketing specialist in medical devices industry in the international companies, but no Ireland-experience.
I cannot get to the stage to get an interview because of that. For other positions I am either overqualified or something else..
What to do at this stage and how to change my CV to have more success?
Thanks for your feedback and tips:)

I can't see how 8 years of experience would put off companies and international experience in international companies with the amount of multi national companies here, would be more considered positive than negative.

    Thanks Naggins.
I don't understand it as well.
It can also be that I changed job a lot before this 8 years in medical sector.

Unfortunately for the country where I come from changing jobs is quite common due to short term contracts.

But this relevant jobs should be strong enough.
Anyway, sales is sales. Marketing as well. It is not so different at all.
Well, I just have that kind of luck.
I am just thinking how to change my approach because I am out of ideas.

    Hi OP
What country are you from are what languages do you speak fluently?

The multilingual market in Ireland is booming but it's often only for in demand languages like German, Dutch etc:

Hi, I am from Croatia. I speak Italian as well but more on intermediate level. I have tried with customer service in call centers because I have a lot of experience in this field but I guess that I am overqualified for that positions so I am ready for anything just to gain more country work experience.

I would bring my C.V. to a C.V. expert. Write unique C.V./Coverletter for each job you are interested in.

    Thanks FarOn,
I have prepared different versions of my CV depending on the position I am applying for.
I will try to contact an expert to check my CV.
So far I get answers that I am either overqualified or I don't have Ireland work experience.
It is hard to have it when you cannot get a chance.
Well, I just have to keep on trying.

Why are you looking for experience in the Irish market?

Hi, I am looking for a job since I relocated here few months ago. So far I have almost no work experience here, but a lot of work experience as a sales rep. But not from Ireland.
