    Hi all

Myself and my husband are looking for places to go at the weekend that have things to do, but we would like to avoid Dublin city.

We like markets, music stores, vintage shops and cafes.

We are looking for anywhere within a one hrs drive from kilcock, but not Dublin city.

Apologise if I have posted in the wrong place

Howth is a bit touristy, but it's not Dublin *city* and it ticks a few of the boxes you listed... according to AA Roadwatch just about do-able in an hour from Kilcock.

Why on earth would you want to avoid Dublin city? Try the tamplebar markets I'd say
