I let my friend use our business address for post while he moved back down the country from Dublin. The problem was it led Revenue to think he lived at the shop address. He got an initial demand for LPT and then a followup letter last October. How do I check to see whether Revenue have realised that my friend has no LPT…

I let my friend use our business address for post while he moved back down the country from Dublin. The problem was it led Revenue to think he lived at the shop address. He got an initial demand for LPT and then a followup letter last October. How do I check to see whether Revenue have realised that my friend has no LPT obligation to the state. I have all his details. He is not that well up on how things work here as he is foreign. So he left his details and correspondences from the state.

Ask him to email LPT@revenue.ie on same... quote back the reference numbers included on Revenue's letter to him
