I've almost reached my fill with getting the correct paint colours.

It seems that every paint colour tester i bring home & apply looks nothing like the colour cards or display in store.

    Whats going wrong?

Mainly because most colour cards displayed instore or the take home colour cards arent real paint! Its nearly impossible to make ink look the same colour as paint - so its only printers best guess really!

Colortrend and I think Little Greene, are the only ones that use real paint on their colour cards, so its a square card of real paint that has been stuck onto the card - that means you get the actual colour you choose!

Best thing you can do is when you buy your tester pot is paint it onto a piece of card - then you can see the real colour before you paint lots of bits of your walls with tester colours :)

Any chance its the lighting that's making a difference to the colour? I'm using a paint outdoors which on the walls looks very bright but indoors where I tried some it looked pale in comparison.
