    FYI: On 19th September Dublin Cycling Campaign are running a free Bicycle Clinic on Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 from 10AM to 5PM
    You can get your bike serviced by qualified bike mechanics and the Gardaí will be on hand to register your bicycle.
    This register helps the Gardaí identify stolen bicycles and reunite them with their true owner.

    If you can’t make it to Molesworth Street on the 19th there are some simple tasks that you can undertake to secure your bike.
    Attached are links to videos that show you better ways to secure your bike.

    Besides securing your bike you should also do the following;
    1) Take a photo of your bike
    2) Take a second photo of your bike with you standing beside it
    3) Take a note of any brand names, marks and other characteristics that are personal to your bike
    4) Look for the unique registration number that is under the fork on your bike and write it down.
    Every bike has a unique number. It is not there then you bike is likely to have been stolen already
    5) And if you use our Bike Locker make sure you lock your bike inside to the red hoop using your padlock/chain etc.
    6) Finally please make sure that you lock the door correctly. Test it before you leave the station

    The Road Safety Authority now has available Hi Vis Back Pack covers which they will send to you for free. Contact is helenmcdonnell@rsa.ie
