This is Amazon's daily deal today. Bought one of these recently for £60 so this is a very good price. Ultimate storage expansion for phones, tablets etc...

I just wonder though if most devices can actually "read" that much space.

Most 2014 flagships will, you should obviously check your device is compatible before making a purchase.

anything that can read the SDXC type 64gb cards (i.e. all 64gb cards) *should* (at least in theory) be able to read anything up to future card sizes of 128gb up to 2tb as that is what the design specs of the SDXC format stipulate.

Although having said that, I have the 64gb version in my Note 3 and it's actually crapped out twice and wouldn't write after a while once it was over approx. 60% full and needing wiping, reformatting and restoring of all the data, which was disappointing.

I have another one in my dashcam (also the same sandisk one), so I might swap them round and see if the problem follows the card or stays with the device as the dashcam one has been filled entirely and overwritten several times now and is still going strong.

I think I'll pick one of these up even though as of yet I haven't a device to support one!

Cracker of a deal, thanks OP!

Cheers OP I was going to pick one of these up in the states in October but this works out about €15 less than the cheapest I could find with a quick look online.

Maybe I'm a just a simple man but... isn't it amazing that there's a product, probably smaller than your little fingernail (0.1 x 1.5 x 1.1 cm) that can store 128gb of data, offer file transfer speeds up to 30 MBps and a 10-year warranty for about 65 euro.

It's mind boggling really...give it another year and they'll be down to 30euro or so!

Wasn't it Bill Gates who said no one will need more than 640KB RAM? :pac:
