South African tour, good if you like to see elephants, bad if you want to watch a big name play golf.....and lee Westwood or chwartzel will win.

    There sure is.
Both European & PGA tours have very little breaks these days.
For the months above the Euro Tour is in the likes of South Africa, Middle & Far East.
    PGA tour is also active.
Standard of golf wouldn't be the best as most of the better players will take some time off with some of the guys lower down the rankings looking at it as a time to make hay with the big guys gone.

Shells wonderful world of golf is on all year round ;)

No that's the end of the season. The was a few good tournaments on late February early March last year, the matchplay that was on in Arizona was good and I think it was late February.

Post the Ryder Cup it wont be until the Masters that I will sit down to watch the golf again....R2D never really catches my attention..

The only thing worth taking notice of now is to see if the Irish players can hold onto their cards....but i will just check that online.

PGA tour starts in October http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/schedule.html

European tour finishes end of November and pretty much starts again straight away http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/tournament/index.html
