    Hi All,

I realise that this is a very broad question, which depends on a lot of factors. But how much approximately would you expect to pay to rent farmland in south Roscommon? As far as im aware the land is in quite good condition, currently used for grazing and is relatively flat.

    cheers

Anything from 100_230 depending on location size fencing fertility and most important 2 neighbours one dairy with a fool to poke it on

    Hi epfff,

Thanks for replying to my post. Unfortunately I don't have any specific information on the land quality at the moment. We are looking a property and the land is part of the sale. Being able to rent it out will have an impact on whether we will buy it as we currently have no use for the additional land.

    Cheers

Re land quality - what weeds are growing on it? As this might point to the land quality.

I would add also, that buying land to rent out, not sure the return on investment would be great? Altho maybe you;re getting the land for a song ;)

We are looking at a house with which the land is being sold with. As you can imagine this is upping the price of the property. Selling the land is an option in the future, but as it stands its all in one package in terms of purchasing the house. Im just looking at all options.

As far as what weeds are growing, I can't answer. I've only seen the property and lands in passing. Im waiting on the estate agents to get back to me regarding a viewing, so ill know more details after that.

    cheers
