Switching to Eircom

    Hey all,

    I am considering of switching my ISP from UPC to Eircom.

    As it stands I get about 15mbs due to my router being forcibly placed in a lousy spot in the house. Used to get much higher via wifi but recently noticed the drop for some reason.

    Eircom offering to do a whole new installation etc free and for a bit cheaper per month overall

    My real question is, are Eircom good? I have heard a few horror stories re downloading torrents etc and that the service is policed more than other providers

    Any advice would be much appreciated :)
