Hi, we are v close to completion on a part built / watertight house circa 4500-5000 sqf and need to come to some final decisions regarding insulation, screed , heating etc
Big problem is we only have 150 mm left between slab and door frames to insulate, screed and flooring
Cavities have already been filled with 100mm kingspan so nothing can do there. 1st floor is bison slab
Current thoughts are ufh with liquid screed and 100mm insulation or scrap that idea and go radiators
    400mm Kauf in the attic
Internal walls are some sort of insulated block
We're also thinking wood pellet stove with boiler as the grants are v good and payback scheme for 7 years
    Thoughts and ideas much appreciated

    5000sqft! Opening a B&B?
With the info given , the unknown: thermal bridges/insulation/air-tightness/windows heat loss etc - I wouldn't go for ufh.
Wood pellet stove may be a good idea, but in order to know how big it needs to be in my opinion you need some type of heat loss survey/calculation to figure out the expected heat load + air-leakage/ventilation assessment

We have been told by 3 different companies a 27/30kw pellet boiler stove will be enough to run ufh with a 300/500lt buffer tank
Windows are pilkington insu-therm double glazed hardwood
Will be trying to make as airtight as possible but still reading/learning about this as a novice
Quite a large south facing sunroom with double opening into large kitchen
B&b has been suggested lol, never know in a few years !
