TC7200 refuses Telnet.

Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue. My TC7200 is useless with bridging enabled via the hidden page.

But when the coax is disconnected it refuses TELNET connections, when connected I can login but it no longer accepts the SMNPSET command.

I've tried hard resetting it to no avail.

    Thanks

Do you just want to disable bridging? Go back to the hidden page and disable it there. Should be no need to telnet into the device; I'd be wary of doing so as it logs any attempt to telnet into it.

The hidden page results in the issue where it stops routing traffic quite badly rendering it useless.

The reset button on the back does work, but you need to hold it for a fairly long time, 30 seconds or more. I know because I tried it myself. :)

Thanks, I tried that many times, power cycling it and resetting it several times in a row to no change. I've given up on it for the moment, may consider an alternative ISP at this stage.
