Unanounced changes to parkingtag phone codes

    If you pay for parking in Dublin city or Dun Laoghaire using your phone keypad (not SMS), you need to be aware of some changes they have made to the parkingtag zone codes.

    In particular take note that in Dublin city they have bizarrely swapped blue and orange around for no apparent reason.

    Here are the new codes...

    Dublin City

    Yellow 1
    Red 2
    Green 3
    Blue 4 (was 5)
    Orange 5 (was 4)

    The original codes for DLR were a mess, they inserted 'DZ' as number 6 so every letter from 'F' onwards had the wrong serial number, they have now corrected this which means that the codes for zones 'DF' and above have changed.....

    DB 2
    DC 3
    DD 4
    DE 5
    DF 6
    DG 7
    DH 8
    DI 9
    DK 10
    DL 11
    DM 12
