Lag at 1300 rpm

I recently serviced my citroen c5 2008 1.6 hdi changing oil, oil filter, air filter and fuel filter.
Since then I have noticed that at 1200 to 1400 rpm in every gear there is a moment when there is a loss of power while accelerating.
Another thing I have noticed is that before the service if I was stopped in traffic , and went to take off I first gear, without pressing on the accelerator, the engine would give the necessary revs to drive the car away. This does not happen now, if I lift the clutch to quickly, the car will stall.
The replacement parts were purchased from local motor factors and are not genuine parts but have not had problems before.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Sounds like you might have disconnect or disturbed a boost or vacum pipe, worth scanning the areas you worked on for disconnect pipes, if you changed the air filter then start there and check around the air filter housing.

I have the same car and I was experiencing a loss of power at around those revs. In the end the EGR value was dirty. I cleaned it and it improved but it gradually got worse again. I blanked it off a few weeks back and I must say that the car is running alot better. No power lag and economy has improved. I actually think the car is not taking as long to do a DPF regeneration and they are not happening as often.

BTW Check the rubber seal around the air pipe to the turbo as this pops off very easily especially after a service. I had to use a cable tie to make sure it waited in under a tight seal.

boards user Row is the man here if you still have issues.
