    Quick question in relation to running a swa cable for a treatment plant possibly a bio cycle, how many cores are required for these systems, im thinking a 5 by 2.5 swa . Any help or advice much appreciated

    Need more info. How does it work? Some just have a compressor that just requires a 13a socket.

    Mod edit.

    Lads people are allowed to ask questions.

    Please do not answer them in a way that will discourage people from asking Any electrical type questions .

    Please check the charter.

    if it's waste treatment most are 3/5 core 2.5 swa ime

    5 core if there's remote alarm

    most are fed direct from a non-rcd protected way

    Thanks mikey and sham its great to get some advice from people with qualifications.
    <snip>
    . As I originally stated that my thinking was a 5 by 2.5 and posted here to see had other qualified electricians come across any different systems that would require any further control.

    <snip again>

    Mod note.
    We understand your position, but please just use the report function .
