Have you ever had sex while a baby was in the same room? If so, at what age would it be inappropriate? What are you meant to say to any young ones disturbed by witnessing/hearing the act?

You should really change your title.

To answer your question as a single adult male with no children.

    No!

However from an observational POV, I don't see much wrong with couples with children partaking in sexual activity while a child is in the same room; just as long as the baby is sleeping ;)

We enjoy hummenahummena in another bedroom. Our little boy is a noisy little fellow and we found it off putting having him gurgle and coo while we're getting hot and heavy so now when we're feeling frisky we just go into another bedroom!

Sofa , shower, kitchen flloor, spare bedroom. If youre uncomfortable doing it in the same room as the baby mix it up and use one of these.

When you have kids, there's no such thing as a private moment and you are never more than a few seconds away from them interrupting one way or another, so by and large, (within reason) you'll take it whenever and wherever you can get it, assuming you can both muster the energy and enthusiasm to get the job done, and fair play if you can!

Not too difficult with a baby, but once they start walking and talking, sooner or later you'll get to find out what a buzz kill it is to hear the phrase "what are you doing to mummy?" entirely out of the blue!

I have distinct memories from when I was a little over a year old. (not of parents having sex!) so its entirely possible that an older baby might remember seeing something.

The spare room during nap times worked best for us.
