calor gas contract question

I just moved into a new house. The existing heating system is calor lpg, tank out the back. I am intending to switch to mains gas in the near future, but with winter almost on top of us, I will probably wait until next year to switch.

If I sign a contact with calor in the meantime, will it be difficult to get out of it next year? From what I can see, there's a standing charge of 147e for the year. Does this mean it will cost me 147e + whatever I top the tank up by, and I'll be able to cancel my contact in 12 months without any hassle from calor?

Anyone? I tried emailing them because I'd prefer to have their response in writing, but no reply yet.
