Manchester United take on Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford on Sunday the 14th of September at 4pm.

Lots of debuts possible here. Manchester United recently signed Radamel Falcao, Marcus Rojo and Daley Blind while Luke Shaw, signed during the summer, could play his first game for the Red Devils.

'Arry may include Sandro and Croatian and personal favourite (after Peter Crouch) Niko Kranjcar in the squad.

The game will also see the return of Rio Ferdinand to Old Trafford. QPR haven't won against United at Old Trafford since 1992. Rio will have to be at his best to hold back Falcao, Rooney and RVP.

    3-0 to United.

A nice trouble free 2-0 win will do me, especially if signs of improvement are evident.

This fixtures has given me scares ever since this :.

My brother was a Leeds fan to make things worse.

How much has Falcao trained at United? Expect him to be deployed from the bench but no question Van Gaal would be eager to start him to give the squad a boost.

4-O Utd I'd say with Falcao getting two on his debut!

Probably Man U's most important game since their last Euro final-if they lose or draw this they're fighting for third place at best and with the pressure ratcheted to the maximum they'll be facing a trip to Leicester where Everton and Arsenal have already failed to secure 3 points. Suddenly that "easy start" with its free points has evaporated before they've even had to face a top-quality player let alone a top level team.

I think united might win 1-0 but there's I can't see it being a coherent or steamrolling performance with so many new players.

Strange to say it but this is a "must win game". It'll be nice to have players in midfield who aren't terrified of the ball.

anything could happen in this game.
please god utd win , put me in good form for game of cards tomorrow night :)

A right rabble of mildly exotic international talents which really needs shaping into something coherent and start winning matches before its too late already, which is also true for Manchester Utd QPR.

3 2 last minute winner by falcao

in the fergie years, when we previously had bad starts, it was exactly this time, after the international break when we put a move on.
    4-1 tomorrow

Why? To come 1st or 2nd you can afford to drop about 30 points all season; a loss here will make it 10 gone already with 12 games home and away against teams who finished higher than them last season still to play. This is even before taking into account that they've been utterly gash in every game so far.

Villa and Swansea won't stay as they are. City and Spurs have already dropped 5, Liverpool and Arsenal have dropped 6 and Everton have dropped 7.

There is 34 games left in the season and anything can happen. It's silly to say we won't make the top 2 at this stage of the season.

On a bad run? Need a first win? If you have a problem, and if you can find them, maybe you too can pick QPR next in the fixture list.

Would dearly love a repeat of that Dennis Bailey (Hallelujah! Hallelujah!) match, but I'm afraid the above (shamelessly stolen from here) is just too true.

can't wait for this. Falcao to surely start, Di Maria with a few GLORIOUS assists, win by 2 at least

I predict Falcao to start from the bench, come after 70 minutes and score 9.

I reckon Falcao wont start but hope to see him get 25 minutes or so.
Really hoping for a big performance from the team and a nice comfortable win.

    4-1 United

Hopefully United get going today, 3 points is a must. Hoping to see a decent performance but would be happy with 1-0 win to get things started.

Cannot wait to see Di Maria, Falcao doing what they do in the United shirt.

No excuses for Van Gaal now that Man U have gone down the Madrid Galactico route. Four nil to the home team.

if QPR manage to even get a point, it will be very funny after all the money Utd wasted on forward players when they really needed 2 centre backs

If United start those five then they lose I think.

A lot of pressure on Blind to perform, he and Rocco are the important signings imo.

United has plenty of goals in them before the arrival of Falcao and Di Maria. Its about getting the ball up from the back and being able to keep it there that has been the problem.

If Rocco isn't up to it then I'd expect to see Isla and Phillips do serious damage down United's left side.
