Netflix not working with upc horizon box

    In the last 2 weeks my netflix on iPad and Xbox will not connect through upc horizon connection. I connect through a belkin router, as I find it has better wireless coverage than the horizon box. Has any one come across any such issues? Has netflix changed the port it uses to one blocked by upc? If I tether my iPad to iPhone I can connect perfectly, as soon as I reconnect to wifi it hangs and won't connect. On the Xbox it says the netflix service is unavailable.

    Hi there, I am experiencing the same issue here.

    I just recently upgraded to the new Horizon box with UPC and since the upgrade have experienced difficulty connecting to Netflix through all devices including a smart tv which is wired to the box and iPad/iPhone which connect using wireless.

    Like you I can access netflix no problem using my cellular connection.

    Did you find a fix for the issue? It does sound to me like the horizon box is blocking something.

    i had the same issue before and i had to go to the router settings and disable the firewall and then netflix worked.not sure if it will work for you but its worth a try

    Netflix seems to be back working this evening but I'll try disabling the firewall next time I encounter the problem. Thanks for the tip!
