Where do they get this garbage? I have flown out of Luton numerous times and have never gone near the passenger terminal, the Harrods or Signature FBO's are along the airport parameter, it only stands to reason that if there is a suspicious package in the main terminal, it won't have any impact on people getting to other locations.

Sad thing is that this is actually reported in a couple of UK newspapers this morning.

The bomb disposal team arrived at 4:30pm and used a robot to blow up the suitcase containing the worrying explosive, which turned out to be hair straighteners.
