    Hi Everyone

I've decided I want to do either of the above. Been thinking it over for a while now but which is the best to go for?

I'm a ACA working in industry, I know the Tax Institute is the standard but I'm slightly concerned that the their course might be too in-depth for what I'm looking for?

I want to be competent from a commercial side of things, not necessarily an expert who works in a tax dept. in a practice?

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

You could try the tax technician from AITI. Its not as in depth as the CTA.

I've decided to do the CPA - Certified Tax Advisor course (CTax). I'm in industry and a few have done it here, it appears less intense and can be done in less then a year.

Obviously the drawbacks are not as prestigious or well known as AITI / ACA but I'll do it as a taster and follow up with AITI if needs be.

Just another option to think about.
