upgrade pre 1980s cocktail table

Hi anybody upgrade a pre 1980s cocktail table to jamma. I have one but can't seem to find a straight answer. so any advice would be very welcome. Thanks.

yea its fairly easy,
is the monitor working?
black and white or colour?

Yeah its a 14 inch I think but a lot of dust on it so after around 40 mins the screen kinda lines out but if you let it cool down its fine again. so it just needs a good clean I think.

what game is it?
The monitor should have 5 small wires going into it
red,green,blue ,sync and ground.
you might have to splice into the existing ones if theres a custom connector to the monitor.
Usually there is so you can disconnect the monitor quickly.
I'd leave the power going to the monitor the way it is and install a new loom and a new Jamma PSU
Where you based?

in tallaght. the table is a phoenix taito. but the game is called cyber cop. not great.

Im trying to do this myself at the minute, but ive already wrecked a monitor haha. the old monitors seem to have an extra psu board. I removed the old monitor and boards completely , got a new one, 110v, bought a stepdown then hooked up the rgb and the power from the stepdown, it worked for about 2 minutes then smoke starting coming out of it! I think i messed up by not putting an isolation transformer between the stepdown and the monitor.

I havent a clue myself, its learning as a go along, but im livid i wrecked that monitor. it might be fixable i dont know.
