This is a free ebook with basic instructions on how to cook basic but nutritional meals, written by a NZ budgeting service. The meals should cost no more than $2.50 per person (around €1.60). It's a NZ book, but the recipes should still translate easily enough. Students on a budget fresh out of home and away from Mammys cooking, or those on tight purse strings... They keep the equipment list short, so hopefully nothing that even the most basic household won't already have. The recipes are nutritionally sound as they've been checked by the NZ Heart Foundation.

FYI everything should be familiar apart from Kumara, which is sweet potato.
